One of the major goals in developing and expanding the QOL San Diego website is to ensure that the content is accessible for ALL users, including individuals with:

  • visual, hearing, cognitive, and/or physical disabilities;

  • varied learning styles for accessing and processing information;

  • text, voice, earlier version, or different browsers or operating systems;

  • various levels of literacy, comprehension, and/or fluency of language;

  • numerous comfort levels and familiarity with the Web;

  • slow Internet connections or timed access; and

  • operating constraints such as hands-free environments.

In order to achieve this goal, we strive to ensure that the QOL San Diego site is compliant with all Priority I guidelines established by both W3C and CAST. Compliance with these universal design guidelines ensures our content is accessible to the widest possible audience:
